This mallet is perfect for the vast majority of school level orchestra and concert band repertoire, when the timpanist is required to play both rhythmic passages and rolls without having time to change sticks.
Hills Mallets was founded by Adelaide Symphony Orchestra Principal Timpanist Andrew Penrose in 2021 with a dedication to creating Australian made timpani mallets for the musicians of Australia.
All mallets are made personally by Andrew at his home workshop in the Adelaide Hills.
